Car and Coach Parking

The bus companies have been notified of closures and it is up to the bus companies to decide which buses they are running.

Car Parking

Limited car parking is available within the Town centre. Normal car parking charges apply to the council run car parks.

Official Glastonbury Carnival Car Parking £10

  • Tesco’s, from midday
  • B&Q, after 4pm
  • St Johns, from 9am 
  • Tor Leisure (next to Morrisons) – from midday.
  • Herbies Field (ground conditions permitting)
    We are going to open Herbies Field to a limited amount of cars from midday. But if the entrance becomes too unmanageable the field will be closed immediately. See our Facebook page for updates. We have had a lot of rain over the past few days!

**Anyone charging for car parking not in the above areas are not collecting on behalf of Glastonbury Carnival

All official car parks issue a receipt to be displayed in your vehicle.

Shoppers may be charged and refunded on exit of the store car parks as long as exit is before 5pm.

Coach Information

Prebook your coach space

The charges for 2025 are £55 per coach and £35 per minibus/van and spaces will be finally allocated and payment taken in advance of the carnival.

Road Closures

All access to Glastonbury Town Centre will cease at 5pm. All coach companies are advised that they will not be able to gain access to drop off spectators after this time.

All coaches dropping off and not parking within town are advised that you will only be allowed back into town when the roads are reopened, which could be as late as 11pm.

Please make use of the areas provided and do not park along Wells Road or in the vicinity of Austin Road.
